Near-Death Experiences

Near-death experiences can change the life you return to.

A private 90-minute conversation with me about what happened, what changed, and how to live with the questions that followed.

After The Experience

The medical event can end long before the experience stops changing your life.

A near-death experience may last minutes while its consequences continue for years. Work, family and ordinary responsibilities can resume even when your priorities, beliefs or sense of what matters no longer feel the same.

In 2010, my heart stopped during a medical crisis and I was resuscitated. I had to return to ordinary life with a different set of questions. I can speak from that experience without assuming yours was the same.

What We Can Explore

The experience may be over. Its consequences may not be.

Bring the part that is still unresolved. You do not need to relate to every example below.

Other People

How do I talk about something other people cannot easily understand?

We can talk about what you remember, what you want people close to you to understand and what you may prefer to keep private.

Belief

My beliefs about death or consciousness changed.

We can explore what shifted, what still feels uncertain and how those changes are affecting the way you live now.

Ordinary Life

The life I returned to does not feel quite the same.

We can look at changing priorities, relationships, work and the tension between what mattered before and what matters now.

Meaning

I still do not know what the experience meant.

You do not need a final interpretation. We can separate what you remember, what you believe, what you question and what you want to do with it now.

What I Bring

I know the difference between surviving the event and living after it.

My near-death experience did not hand me a finished philosophy. It changed the questions I was asking, then required years of living, working, writing and paying attention to what held up in ordinary life.

That is the perspective I bring to a Private Session. I can compare experience with experience, share what changed for me, ask practical questions and leave room for the places where our interpretations differ.

Before You Book

A few direct answers about life after an NDE.

Near-death experiences can touch medical, psychological and spiritual questions at the same time. A Private Session has a clear boundary.

01

Do I need to believe the same things Lorri believes?

No. Your experience and interpretation remain yours. The conversation can include disagreement, uncertainty and questions neither of us can settle.

02

Can Lorri tell me medically what happened?

No. You can describe the medical event and what you remember, but I do not diagnose or interpret medical conditions. Medical questions belong with an appropriately qualified healthcare professional.

03

What if the experience was profound but was not technically a near-death experience?

That can still be a useful conversation if an unusual or spiritually significant experience changed your questions, identity or ordinary life.

04

Is this therapy or trauma treatment?

No. A Private Session is an educational and personal-development conversation. It is not psychotherapy, counselling, psychiatric care or trauma treatment.

05

Is this appropriate if I am in crisis?

No. LorriBrewer.com does not provide emergency or crisis services. Use the appropriate local emergency, medical or mental-health service when urgent support is needed.
