Identity Crisis

Identity crisis can begin when the life that worked before no longer fits.

A private 90-minute conversation about the decision, relationship, work transition, identity shift or next chapter asking something different of you.

In Between

An identity crisis is often practical and deeply personal at the same time.

A relationship changes. A career or role stops fitting. A decision closes one version of the future and opens another. Sometimes nothing dramatic happened on one particular day, but the life you built no longer feels like an accurate description of who you are.

We can look at the decision itself, the assumptions around it and the identity questions underneath it without turning the session into a diagnosis, a formula or a long-term coaching program.

What We Can Explore

Bring the part of the identity crisis with real consequences.

The conversation can move between the practical decision and the personal meaning underneath it.

Decision

I have a decision I cannot settle.

We can separate facts, assumptions, competing priorities and consequences so the decision is easier to examine.

Relationship

A relationship or boundary is changing.

We can look at what is happening, what you control and what you may be carrying that belongs to someone else.

Work

My work or professional identity no longer fits.

We can discuss the practical tradeoffs and the identity attached to a role, career, business or next chapter.

Identity

Something changed, but I do not know who I am in the new version.

We can name what ended, what remains true and which parts of the old identity came from circumstance.

What I Bring

Inner change still has to meet real life.

I spent nearly three decades in Alberta business and real estate. I also had a near-death experience that changed the questions I was asking about identity, purpose, consciousness and what mattered.

Those experiences taught me that a changed inner life still has to meet schedules, money, relationships and responsibility. That is where I like to have these conversations.

Before You Book

Know what kind of help this identity conversation provides.

This is one focused conversation for perspective and reflection. The phrase identity crisis does not turn the session into mental-health treatment or regulated advice.

01

Is this life coaching?

It is not a structured coaching program or recurring accountability package. A Private Session is one focused conversation for perspective, questions and reflection.

02

Is an identity crisis a mental-health diagnosis?

I do not diagnose mental-health conditions. We can discuss how you describe the change in your identity or life, while clinical concerns belong with an appropriately qualified professional.

03

Will Lorri tell me what decision to make?

No. I can challenge assumptions and share perspective, but you remain responsible for the decision and its consequences.

04

Can I bring a business, career or relationship problem?

Yes. My business background can inform the conversation, but the session is not legal, financial, accounting, couples therapy or other regulated professional advice.

05

What if the transition is connected to grief or a spiritual experience?

That is fine. The conversation can move across those parts of your life when they are genuinely connected.
